Blue Yoruichi’s greatest weapon is the special

Right off the bat, what really makes this deck sing is the powerhouse Special: Shunko! Raijin Senkei!
Being able to grant a character 2000 BP, Snipe, and Impact in a single card at just four energy-cost is incredibly strong, turning any of your Yoruichi other than the zero-cost into a huge threat.
Free-play effects keep you ahead of the competition
As strong as a Special like that is, it’s not alone enough to make a deck viable into the current meta. However, that’s far from the only thing going for Blue Yoruichi. The other thing I really like about this deck is the insane amount of free-play and recursion it has access to.
First, let’s talk about Raid Yoruichi that has a broken free-play built into it.

As long as you have Kisuke on your field, when Raid Yoruichi is sidelined, you’ll be free-playing her Raid source onto your field. This is especially good considering how strong two of your low-cost Raid targets are.

When you combine that with the fact that she can switch a character to active when played, and also can become a 6000 BP character with Snipe and Impact via the Special, you have an insanely strong character at just four energy cost.
But there’s more. Four-cost Yoruichi also enables a solid free-play.

It’s not as strong as the Raid that has it built-in (you’ll need a low cost character in your hand to make this work). However, having that baked into a character that’s essentially a 4000 BP character during you turn, and can be switched to active the turn its played if you also Raid the Yoruichi is very strong.

Lastly, Orihime gives you the ability to play a low-cost character also for free. This time, it will be from your sideline, while giving you the option to add it to your hand instead. That’s not all she’s doing, however. She also will be granting total protection to one of your characters.

As for your main attackers, Grimmjow adds a strategic attacker to your arsenal. While you’ll be paying an AP to play this character, he’ll be coming in active and putting on solid pressure as a 4000 BP character. To use his ability, you’ll just have to look to sideline him via either your Ichigo or Kisuke characters in this deck.

Three-cost Kisuke has the powerful ability to move characters in-between lines when played. While there are many ways to use this ability, the way I find this ability to be the strongest is to use it early to set up attackers without harming your energy line.
In the Blue Yoruichi deck, this is particularly strong as it allows you to unlock more aggression, letting you defeat your opponent by the early mid-game range where this deck shines.

Blue Yoruichi has yet another strategically impactful three cost character in the form of this Yoruichi. Use her to swap out one of your characters free-played to resting on your front line that turn, or use her to swap out a Yoruichi that is played off of a Raid Yoruichi if she has been hit with a Special.

Last but not least, use this two-cost Ichigo as another way to activate your Grimmjow’s ability while doubling as a character that can’t be blocked by 4000 BP characters or more, effectively letting you close out the game if you’ve played your cards right.
With a combination of an incredible number of free-play effects, Snipe/Impact at just four energy cost, and plenty of aggression, Blue Yoruichi has everything it needs to dominate the UNION ARENA English meta post BLEACH Vol. 3, and then some.
