Dual Impact Gundam Card Game Set Two Spoilers
The Gundam Card Game has been a smash hit so far, with huge attendance seen at the Newtype Rising Booster Pack Launch Event, store tournaments, and incredible demand in general for these cards and products, seeing the most expensive among them soaring to incredible prices on the secondary card market.
With that being said, we have another Gundam Card Game set to look forward to, and it’s coming out relatively soon, slated for an October 24, 2025 release date.
Of course, in typical Bandai fashion we’re already getting a steady stream of spoilers for Dual Impact, starting with the new starter decks.

Two new starter decks has been confirmed for Gundam’s second set. The first to be spoiled was the “Clan Unity,” starter deck based on the “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” series.
Second we have “Iron Bloom” which is based on the “Iron Blooded Orphans” series. While we have yet to see full images of the cards getting released in this deck, it will include the new Purple color which is sure to drive a ton of interest for new and current players of the game.
Let’s look at the spoilers revealed from both starter decks below.
Red Gundam
At first glance, the Red Gundam doesn’t look like anything too special. However, in a Clan-focused deck, this could quickly get a lot stronger, boosting your other Clan units to much greater attack power. This could be really helpful with pressuring down your opponent, while the Breach 1 won’t be a great Base buster, but could be a fantastic way to take additional shields when no Base is present.
Shuji Ito
Here we have Shuji Ito who is likely the main Pilot for the Clan Unity Starter Deck. I really like this pilot’s Attack effect, letting you choose what card you want to draw next. This could work really well if you combo it with another draw effect. Attack, look at the top card, then use that additional draw effect to maximize its value.
Schoolgirl and Smuggler – Command
The next spoiler up is the Schoolgirl and Smuggler Command. Reminiscent at least in name to the Witch and the Bride, we have yet to know what this card is going to do, but the illustration shared via the official Gundam Card Game X account got a ton of attention and a positive reaction from fans.
Gundam Barbatos 2nd Form
The first official English reveal for a card from the Iron Bloom starter deck is Gundam Barbatos 2nd form. Consisting of the new purple color, the Barbatos introduces a new mechanic for the Gundam Card Game – one that sees an increase in AP from the unit being damaged. Could more cards get revealed that intentionally damage your own purple units to unlock effects, thereby bolstering this card’s efficacy? Could be, but it’s an exciting new card to be included in the game either way.
CGS Mobile Worker
Sure enough, the very next card revealed from the starter deck is this Mobile Worker, one that can – you guessed it – damage your own units to grant additional stat boosts. Purple is looking very interesting, indeed!
Latest Iron Bloom Starter deck reveals
Although the Dual Impact booster pack card reveals (below) are coming at a franetic pace, we’ve also been gifted several additional starter deck card reveals. The most exciting among them is the already teased but not fully revealed Barbados.
Complete with the powerful new Suppression keyword, Barbatos is going to be a very popular Gundam in competitive-grade decks almost certainly!
Dual Impact Booster Pack Spoilers
As cool as it is to get a preview of the starter decks, it’s even more exciting to get our first look at some of the cards getting released in the Dual Impact booster packs themselves. Above, you can see what the booster packs will look like. In addition, three cards from the set were spoiled, and they’re already causing a stir within the Gundam Card Game community.
Revealed cards confirm the final Gundam card color will be purple.
“Suppression” keyword introduced, damaging two shield cards simultaneously.
Zeta Gundam brings multi-attack capabilities into White’s wheelhouse.
Gundam AGE-1 Normal brings additional ramp capabilities to Green.
Clearly in Dual Impact we will begin to get a more fleshed out idea of how the Gundam Card Game is meant to operate, complete with additional keywords, card colors, and more!
Core Booster
Core Booster may look like a generic 2/2 Unit, but the real differentiator here is that it can be Linked with any White Base Team Trait Pilot. This could allow some interesting early game plays in certain decks.
Gundam Heavyarms
Gundam Heavyarms feels like a decent earlier-game Unit for Wing Gundam. The added filtering effect should help make it just a little easier to find the cards you need when you need them!
August 25, 2025 Gundam set 2 card reveals
There have been several card reveals over the weekend from the Dual Impact booster pack including a new purple command card, Fatal Strike, a generic white unit, a Neo-Zeon Link unit, and (most excitingly for me) a solid new Triple Ship Alliance unit, Buster Gundam.
See them via the gallery below.
Again, the Buster Gundam is the most exciting spoiler revealed over the weeekend.
This would fit perfectly into my SEED deck list that focuses heavily on Triple Ship Alliance units. The fact that it can link with any Cooridnator Trait Pilot gives this card phenomenal utility in a deck focused on Athrun and Kira, and the 5 AP gains blocker threshold is super attainable in that deck.
September 2, 2025 spoiler update
The last week saw a ton of new card reveals for the upcoming set. And while it’s hard to go over every single one in detail, two cards stood out especially to me.
Gundam Aerial Rebuild
First, I love to see the inclusion odf this Gundam Aerial Rebuild. Posessing the High Maneuver keyword and also gaining Blocker while at four or more Command cards in trash really set up the Command Control deck with Suletta Mercury at its core as a complete deck. Sure – we’ve had some strong pieces until now, but it’s really coming into its own in set two.
GINN Long-Range Reconnaissance Type
The other one that looks solid is this ZAFT unit. Small but mighty, I love the draw effect this brings into the ZAFT deck (one that really needs it).
September 10, 2025 Dual Impact card reveal update
Gundam Dual Impact card reveals seem to be slowing down a little bit as we’re getting into September. Will they pick up again soon? Possibly, but you can see the latest cards spoiled from the set via the gallery below.
While there’s undoubtedly plenty more to be revealed about Dual Impact, what we’ve seen so far is pretty exciting to say the least. So make sure to bookmark this page and come back often as I’ll be updating it with more info as it becomes available!
