Highly Anticipated Ascended Heroes Pokemon TCG Products Get Delayed in US and Canada

Today, the Pokemon TCG Company International issued an update on the highly anticipated Ascended Heroes Larry and Erika Collection Pokemon TCG products stating that the release date for these products will be pushed back in the United States and Canada from the original January 30, 2026 release day back to February 20, 2026. This is a fairly big blow to collectors and players who are eager to get their hands on products as quickly as possible given the already thin line of Ascended Heroes products getting released on January 30th.

The above update was shared via the official Pokemon TCG X account.

Indeed, with the Larry/Erika Collection products getting pushed back almost a full month, only two products will actually be getting released when the set launches, those being the Ascended Heroes Tech Sticker Collection, according to the official Ascended Heroes product release schedule.

Ascended Heroes prices likely to skyrocket in light of this update

The immediate fallout from the news of this product pushback is that we are likely to see a huge increase in the price for both Ascended Heroes products and singles. With relatively few products available, the immediate price for key Ascended Heroes chase cards are likely to be immensely high until the broader product rollout that happens at the end of February.

Getting your hands on any number of the two Ascended Heroes products that will be available until then should be even harder to achieve, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see lines going around the block at stores everywhere from individuals hoping to get their hands on the Tech Sticker collection.

The Tech Sticker Collection products look great, featuring Mega Charizard Y and Mega Gengar on the sticker product – both Pokemon are featured on cards in Ascended Heroes. But with only three packs included each, it’s going to take a lot of Tech Sticker Collections to pull the many gorgeous chase cards available in what many are calling the biggest Pokemon set of all time thanks to its massive 295 cards.

Prices for these products are already quite high on the secondary card market, and getting a scheduling delay like this one won’t help alleviate supply and demand issues.

The good news is, however, that plenty of products will be getting released at the end of February, including the Ascended Heroes ETB which has a whopping nine booster packs included. So while there is hope on the horizon, January 30th is shaping up to be a rough one for anyone hoping to get release day products in hand.
