Johto, Unova, Galar First Partner Illustration Collection Promos Revealed In English

Just shortly after the artworks were spoiled for the upcoming First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 (releasing June 18, 2026) for their release in China, the Pokémon Company International revealed all nine promo card artworks in English via their official X account.

These cards will be part of the box collection with three cards included in a special Illustration Collection pack. The three cards you can get are extended artworks of the three Pokemon from a given region – although which region you will get is a mystery with each box!

You can see each one of the upcoming Illustration Collection starter Pokémon promo cards via the gallery below. Note the special “30” Pikachu stamp on each promo – a stamp that shows these special promos are part of the ongoing Pokémon 30th Anniversary celebration (with more unique sets and cards to come!).

One of the more fun aspects of these First Partner Illustration promos is just how many hidden easter eggs you’ll find in them. From the autumn leaves of Tin Tower to a blatant allusion to the shiny Gyardos that’s a huge part of the Gold/Silver era of the games, there’s something for everyone in these cards.
