Raikou ex Special Illustration Rare and Sprigatito IR Revealed for Delta Reign
More Delta Reign spoilers have been revealed in English and other languages today. We’re more than a month out from the November 6, 2026 release date, but that’s not stopping anyone from poring over these gorgeous and exciting cards.
Raikou ex Special Illustration Rare
Of all the cards spoiled today, the English reveal of the Raikou ex Special Illustration Rare is the most exhilarating.
Raikou is expected to be a top chase card from Delta Reign. Raikou is a relatively popular Pokémon thanks to being one of the three Legendary Beasts originally making their debut in Johto. This artwork by Oku goes hard, however, and the card has proven market value in Japan as part of Storm Emeralda (the set on which Delta Reign is largely based) where it is the second most valuable card overall.
Sprigatito Illustration Rare also revealed
While Raikou ex may be one of the most likely to top the list in terms of value, one of Delta Reign’s top Illustration Rare cards was also revealed, although not in English. This Sprigatito was originally released in Japanese as part of the Mega Starter Set ex decks.
It’s one of three gorgeous Illustration Rare style cards originally released in those decks: one of which is the exciting Eevee Illustration Rare already confirmed to be in Delta Reign.
Growlithe Illustration Rare
Delta Reign gets more than one exciting Illustration Rare. Apart from Eevee, Growlithe is another original 151 Pokémon featured on a gorgeous alt art print. While not likely to be worth a stellar amount, it’s shown some favorability on the market already in its Japanese version.

Two more Illustration Rare cards were also revealed today for the set, although they’re likely to be lesser chases for most. One is the undeniably well-illustrated Pincurchin Illustration Rare (which I covered in a previous article). The other is Masquerain.
16 Main Set Delta Reign cards revealed, including a new Legendary Stadium
In addition to the top chase that is Raikou ex SIR and the almost-as-exciting Illustration Rare reveals, 16 cards were revealed in different languages for the main set, including the Legendary Marine Trench Stadium – one of the connected Stadium cards making their debut in the set.
