The Best Looking Celestial Guardians Pokemon Pocket Cards to Chase

Pokemon Pocket is unrelenting, bringing new and exciting sets at an almost frenetic pace into being. The latest is Celestial Guardians, and all of its cards have been revealed. Which cards are players going to go the craziest over?

Below, let’s look at the most beautiful Celestial Guardians chase cards in the latest Pokemon TCG Pocket set.

#1 Alolan Exeggutor – Art Rare

Alolan Exeggutor – Art Rare

I’ve said it before in regards to the Pokemon TCG, but Alolan Exeggutor is not exactly my favorite Pokemon of all time. That being said, this card design and color pallet really works, transforming this Pokemon into a force of nature that transports you visually into another – and very tropical – world.

#2 Alolan Vulpix – Art Rare

Alolan Vulpix – Art Rare

Generally speaking, Alolan Vulpix tends to be underrated in regards to its beauty. The concept of taking this well-known fire type Pokemon and converting it into a frosty creature was one of the more compelling transformations from the Alola era. The artwork for the card, however, looks like it would fit in well in a scene from Bambi.

#3 Lillie Immersive Art

Lillie has been getting a lot of love in the Pokemon TCG lately. She was a major focal point of the latest Pokemon TCG main set: Journey Together. She’s a popular trainer sure to drive many collectors to open some packs and spend some Poke gold. My favorite thing about this card isn’t just Lillie looking like she’s about to have a great time with her Pokemon – it’s the gorgeous view of the ocean behind her.

#4 Shiny Gengar ex

Shiny Gengar ex

Celestial Guardians continues the trend established by recent sets by including shiny Pokemon in its lineup. While there are several to hunt down in this set, Gengar ex is likely to be one of the most sought after. Generally speaking, Gengar is one popular ghost Pokemon, and cards featuring him do well from a collector’s standpoint.

#5 Guzma – Immersive Art

#5 Guzma – Immersive Art

If you’re a fan of Martin Scorcese films you might like this card: it’s dark. Guzma may not be the most popular trainer of all time, but the card design goes hard, drawing you in with a complex array of shadows, muted colors, and an etch-like design that reminds me of the work of Albrecht Durer. It’s a good example of Pokemon’s willingness to explore darker, more complex themes at least visually than the regular palette of rainbows and butterflies.
