UNION ARENA: Complete Kagurabachi Card List

Kagurabachi is only the second set in the UNION ARENA English Version to have just two energy colors: Purple, and Red. However, given how powerful one of these colors is, it will still have a huge impact on the meta. Yet, it’s not just its two-color limit that makes this set stand out – it’s also the first ever manga-based set released in English. Diehard Kagurabachi fans (of which there are many) are going to go nuts over this massive set while players will buy it for its powerful strategies.

Below, let’s look at every single Kagurabachi card for the English set.

Kagurabachi Purple cards

The purple deck featuring Chihiro and Kyora is the most hyped Purple deck, but realistically the purple energy color in Kagurabachi isn’t nearly as strong as the other. However, it will still likely be popular at the local level of play, even if less likely to show up at the top tables at high level competition.

Kagurabachi Red cards

Red is by far the dominant color in Kagurabachi, with the Red Chihiro deck in particular poised to dominate the UNION ARENA English meta.

Kagurabachi Action Point cards

Kagurabachi has many different APs to choose from. See which ones you can collect via the gallery above.

Kagurabachi parallel rares alt arts

While the majority of cards in Kagurabachi’s main set are black and white to fit the manga theme, these parallel rares are more fully fleshed out, beautifully imagined portraits that bring characters and scenes from the manga to life.

Most notably, Kagurabachi does include a serialized Chihiro card – a massive collectible for this unique and instantly iconic set.

Kagurabachi box toppers and promos

As usual, Kagurabachi Booster Boxes will come with an added incentive for players to pick them up – foil versions of common deck staples included at random in the Kagurabachi box topper packs.

Judge promos

Judge promos also include alternate foil cards with cool Judge stamps on them. These can be obtained via judge packs handed out at weekly events.

UNION RARE and Winner Cards

Last on the card front, above we have promos that can only be obtained by competing in store tournament events and rare battles. The Chihiro Winner stamped promo can be obtained by finishing top 4 at a store tournament, while the Rare Battle Winner and UNION Rare card can be obtained by either Winning a Rare Battle (netting you the WINNER stamped card) or placing top four. The other two cards can be obtained by simply attending a store tournament (Sazanami) or rare battle (Chihiro).

Kagurabachi products

While most UNION ARENA sets either have booster boxes or starter decks, Kagurabachi is unique because it gets a very cool AP/Playmat product with it. While selling at MSRP for $45, good luck getting it for that! I found one at the Bandai Card Fest at retail but online these are very hard to come by and typically fetch much more.

The core product to care about, however, is of course the Kagurabachi booster box. Preorder this from TCGPlayer for the best price!
