UNION ARENA: The Most Expensive Fullmetal Alchemist Cards

Fullmetal Alchemist is a highly anticipated UNION ARENA set. While that’s true for players, but it’s also true for collectors. Fullmetal Alchemist continues UNION ARENA’s continued success at making gorgeous alternate art cards (called parallel rares) for fans of the anime and the game to chase. Below, I’ll be ranking them from most expensive to least based on my projected values for these cards.

#1 Edward Elric SR***

As the titular character of Fullmetal Alchemist, Edward Elric should fare well on the secondary card market. When looking at similar cards and rarities from past sets, it’s likely the Edward signature SR*** will fetch anywhere from $300-$400 once the dust settles and the set has been around for a little while.

#2 Roy Mustang SR***

Roy Mustang is a highly popular character in anime in general – perhaps just as popular as Edward. My guess is he will command a slightly lower price on the secondary card market than Edward, but it won’t be by a wide margin.

#3 Edward Elric SR**

Edward Elric SR**

Edward Elric SR** should do very well on the secondary card market, fetching anywhere from $150 to $250 once the dust settles.

#4 Roy Mustang SR**

Roy Mustang SR** feels like a card that should easily land somewhere around the $200 mark.

#5 Lust SR**

Of the SR** cards outside the big two, Lust is likely to be the most valuable. A key component of the Fullmetal Alchemist Purple deck, Lust’s value benefits from being a memorable villain from the show, as well as being a very playable card in the game. While of course she won’t fetch the kind of value as the SR*** due to lower rarity, she should still easily fetch anywhere from $150-$200.

#6 Alphonse Elric SR**

Let’s not forget about Alphonse! Although he tends to live in his brother’s shadow, his SR** should be one of the most expensive from the Fullmetal Alchemist set. It should be worth $125-150, and its competitive viability will help carry this card.

#7 Greed SR**

While Greed isn’t a core component of the best Fullmetal Alchemist deck, he’s a very popular character which should help carry this SR** card’s value. The anti-hero should be worth between $115-$130 after release.

#8 Riza Hawkeye SR**

Riza Hawkeye is an underrated character. Her dedication to Mustang really sets her apart as loyal character, and she has excellent combat skills that makes her handy in a pinch. While she may not be the first character you think of when you think about Fullmetal Alchemist, she’s certainly one of the best, and her card value should reflect that, grabbing anywhere in the $100-130 range.

#9 Winry Foil Action Point Card

Winry AP

The Winry AP Foil card is very rare, and should be highly sought after by fans. Many will want to complete the set (three of) for use in their Yellow Elric Brothers deck. Such rarity and demand could easily drive this card’s value above $95 on the secondary card market.

#10 Envy SR**

Envy is the final card on this list, and its value really is being driven primarily by the card rarity here. Although a very, very solid card competitively, I doubt Envy tops most people’s list of favorite FMA character. Post release value should hover around $85 for this particular card.
