Zekrom ex and Reshiram ex “Black White” Rare Cards Revealed in English
Excited for the upcoming Black Bolt/White Flare special set coming July 18, 2025? Well, the Pokemon Company has your back. In a video revealed via the official Pokemon TCG X account, we were given our first-ever look at the Zekrom ex and Reshiram ex “Black White” rare cards we will be getting when the set launches.
Looks-wise, this deck appears most similar to the hyper rare gold cards that have been a staple in the Pokemon TCG. As you can see for yourself in the video, however, the overall effect of the monochromatic white/black colors is pretty startling in a good way, and unlike anything we’ve seen in the Pokemon TCG lately even with stellar sets like Destined Rivals and Prismatic Evolutions pushing boundaries for collectors and players alike.
The BWR cards are likely going to be the most expensive Black Bolt/White Flare cards when the set launches internationally mid-July, with pull rates potentially lower even than other secret rares like the hard-to-find Special Illustration Rare cards that usually top the charts in terms of value.
As exciting as it is to get these cards revealed in English, they are certainly not the only cards worth chasing in the upcoming Pokemon TCG set. Fans of Unova will be excited to know that every single Pokemon from that region is included in this set, with secret rare versions also available for each card.
It’s a fantastic Pokemon TCG set that will especially hit home for fans of the Black/White era of Pokemon, and these BWR rare cards are going to be the crown jewel for any serious collector.
