First ‘Aura Seeker’ Pokémon Cards Revealed – Including Z Mega Evolutions

Are you ready for Aura Seeker?

While the next main Japanese set following Storm Emeralda has been rumored for months, during the closing ceremonies of Pokémon Worlds 2026, the first cards for this yet-to-be-officially revealed set were confirmed: Mega Lucario Z ex will be coming to the Pokémon TCG this November.

Although originally revealed in English as part of a massive Pokémon TCG news drop that included the name of the next Pokémon TCG series, an upcoming anime film, and Mega Attack Rares, the official card images for Mega Evolution’s seventh set have been revealed.

Sigilyph ex

Type: Psychic | HP: 210 Stage: Basic Pokémon Ability: Mega Protector Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from your opponent's "Mega Evolution ex" Pokémon. Mega Lucario Z ex

Again: while the cards were revealed in English, their set codes were noticeably left out. That makes sense given we don’t know what Aura Seeker’s set name in English will be, and the set codes are based on the set’s name rather than a numerical system.

Typically there are differences between a set’s original Japanese name and the name it gets when it releases everywhere else. So we’ll just have to wait and see how Aura Seeker translates over!

Z Mega Evolution Pokémon are supposed to be even stronger than regular Pokémon. So we could end up seeing a lot of very powerful cards coming out of future sets – as well as some highly desirable chase cards.

Almost as if in anticipation of the potential dominance of upcoming Z Mega Pokémon, the revealed Sigilyph ex has built-in protection against any Mega Pokémon ex.

Because of the worldwide release of Pokémon 30th Celebration in September, the regular release cadence is a little unusual right now. Storm Emeralda released in Japan in July, but won’t release in English until November. Similarly, Aura Seeker is expected to release on November 27, 2026, but not come stateside until sometime in early 2027.
