First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 Promos Revealed
The highly anticipated First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 promos and product have been revealed, featuring the starters from Johto, Unova and Galar regions.
The promos themselves are gorgeous, following a very similar design as the series one cards, although to a very different effect given each region of starters features connected art that are unique to their given era.
My favorite of the three (being an old-school Pokemon fan) are the Johto Pokémon promo cards. The fall aesthetic and general artwork is highly reminiscent of that era, bringing to mind Goldenrod City (pictured in Chikorita’s artwork) and Tin Tower’s autumn aesthetic.
These gorgeous starters will be available with the First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 box which releases on June 18, 2026.
Watch out though – these particular collections are highly popular. You are guaranteed three gorgeous, foil starter promos right out of the box. Finding them in the wild will take some hustle, but luckily they are already available for preorder via my partners at TCGPlayer.
