Greninja ex and Jirachi Chase Cards Revealed for Pokémon 30th (Plus 5 New Illustration Rare Cards)
Both Mega Greninja ex and Jirachi ex are getting gorgeous night-themed Special Illustration Rare cards in Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration. Also revealed today were Illustration Rare Toxtricity, Chandelure, Scraggy and the Three Legendary Birds: Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos.
The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration spoilers are rolling in at a frenetic pace. Just last night I covered the release of a gorgeous Salamence ex, Moltres, Morpeko and Maushold. Today’s reveal of Articuno and Zapdos completes the Legendary Bird IR trio!
Burning the candle at both ends suddenly has new meaning after publishing a very exciting update that a Sylveon ex Special Illustration Rare (SIR) had been revealed: technically the first Eeveelution SIR to be confirmed in Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary set.
Alongside Sylveon ex’s huge spoiler was the Fuecoco SIR card (also revealed for the first time) and an Alolan Exeggutor IR that’s likely to be a fan favorite for its unique take on the quirky Pokémon.
While all of these cards are exciting hits, without a doubt the four biggest are the SIRs with Sylveon ex leading the pack, followed closely by Mega Greninja ex, and Jirachi ex, with Fuecoco somewhere behind that.
You can expect each of the SIRs to make it to the top of my most expensive 30th Celebration cards list, along with a bundle of other hot cards – like the many Classic Collection cards already revealed.
