Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Entire Classic Collection Lineup Revealed
While the Pokémon TCG world is still reeling from the insane reveal of the upcoming Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration set this morning, news of additional perhaps not fully intentional reveals have also hit the internet. In a brief video shared via the Japanese website for the expansion, 30 classic Pokémon cards from old and newer sets were shown dancing across the screen. Notably, these cards include many of the cards already officially confirmed and teased as part of the main 30th Celebration set.
Entire Pokémon 30th Celebration Collection card list
We already know from the official Pokémon Company press release that the 30th Celebration set will include 30 reprints of classic cards. Indeed, many of these cards have already been revealed both as teasers and even in their official Pokémon 30th forms – complete with Pikachu stamp and everything.
Given the quick video shared on the Japanese Pokémon TCG site shows the already confirmed/teased cards alongside the rest of the 30 cards, it seems almost certain that below will be our complete 30-card Classic Collection lineup. And in them are some very heavy hitters.

Pokémon 30th Anniversary classic cards have insane chase cards
While we’ve already seen plenty of evidence of the kind of cards we can expect to be reprinted in this set, the above revealed cards just amplify the excitement to a fever pitch. Here are a few of the biggest potential chase cards revealed above.
Shining Celebi – Neo Destiny

The first card that catches my eye is the Shining Celebi card. Originally from Neo Destiny. First editions of the Shining Celebi regularly go for thousands of dollars on TCGPlayer, while the unlimited is still highly desirable. The Neo era of the Pokémon TCG is pretty cool generally speaking, making this a very exciting add to me. Think of it as this set’s Shining Magikarp that we got back in Pokémon: Celebrations.

I also love that the Magikarp from Paldea Evolved is going to get included in the Pokémon 30th Celebration set. While I wouldn’t classify this card as a “classic” in the sense that it came out just a few years ago as part of the Scarlet & Violet era, it did have a remarkably large impact on the Pokémon TCG collector’s psychology. This was one of the early modern-era Illustration Rare Pokémon cards to way overperform. Today, it’s worth an impressive amount of money still, and basically set off the trend that’s a staple in modern Pokémon TCG collecting: hunting for that one IR that will over-perform on the secondary card market.
Mew VMAX – Fusion Strike

While there are plenty of other exciting cards coming to Pokémon 30th Celebration, I do appreciate the inclusion of Mew VMAX. This is a direct nod not just to the collectors/investors that increasingly dominate the Pokémon TCG market but instead recognizing one of the most dominant Pokémon TCG decks of all time.
Mew VMAX was insanely dominant when it came out as an archetype back in the Sword and Shield era. And it remained a force in the meta until it was forced into submission via rotation.
Including cards like this and Arceus VSTAR point to the actual played side of the Pokémon TCG – a nice touch that shows how diverse the Pokémon TCG hobby really is.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration set as they become available!
