Pokémon TCG Pocket’s next set is a banger: Dual Fusion has a plethora of gorgeous cards to chase. Available beginning October 28, 2026, this set includes over 200 cards to collect, including several of the original Kanto starters, an Umbreon Immersive art, and more.
But which of the many revealed cards will be the hottest and most desirable among collectors? Here are my top 10 picks from the set.
#1 Umbreon – Immersive Art
My top pick from the set is not even difficult to choose: it’s easily Umbreon Immersive Art. I shudder to think of what this card’s value would be were it to be released as a physical card. Reminiscent of the legendary Moonbreon of the Sword and Shield Era, this card feels destined for the top of Dual Fusion set, and a major driver for collectors of all kinds.
#2 Pikachu ex – Immersive Art
Believe it or not, Google itself got the exclusive reveal for this Pikachu ex Immersive Art. As far as Pikachu cards go, it’s a strong one, although neither the best nor the worst we’ve seen lately.
#3 Jigglypuff – Immersive Art
Dual Fusion gets an insane number of Immersive Arts, clearly signifying the beginning of a new era for the Pokémon TCG Pocket game. With Soothing Lullaby as its main attack, and nostalgia for the original 151 Pokémon in high gear as always, Jigglypuff is a strong chase.
#4 Mega Mewtwo X ex – Immersive Art
Mega Mewtwo X ex is the last of the Immersive arts from this set. As a dual-type Pokémon, Mega Mewtwo X ex is somewhat historic. What really catches my eye about this particular card, however, is not its dual-type nature but rather it’s dark shadows that add depth and drama to the action in the card art.
#5 Giratina ex – Rainbow
Giratina often gets a bad rap as a Pokémon of darkness. That’s what I like about this card art: it depicts a lighter, more hopeful and ethereal Giratina than we usually get.
#6 Mega Dragonite ex – Rainbow
This Mega Dragonite alternate art card is hilarious. You almost don’t recognize the typically aloof and powerful Pokémon with its goofy face and outstretched arms. Yet, Dragonite has always been one of the more friendly and demure dragon-types, amking this radiant image true to its nature.
#7 Serena’s Choice – Special Art
While Pokémon often get the most attention when a new set releases regardless if it is the physical TCG or Pocket, trainers are as much a part of the Pokémon world, and they have many worthy chase cards, as well. Here we have a slightly more mature Serena than what we ever saw in the anime. This card is a beautiful tribute to one of Pokémon’s strongest heroines, and a fitting nod to the Mega Evolution era of the Pokémon TCG.
#8 Charizard – Illustration Rare
This Charizard Illustration Art is one of the best I’ve seen in a while featuring Pokémon’s original chase. I can imagine this Pokémon standing at the edge of Charicific Valley here, staring into a rising (or setting) sun. It’s not the rarest on the list, but Charizard’s legacy will catapult it to the top of many wish lists.
#9 Gengar – Illustration Art
If you’ve been following modern Pokémon sets, then you’ll know how in demand Gengar is. As the original Ghost-type Pokémon from Kanto, Gengar commands a premium whenever the card gets a physical printed card. That combined with the ghostly time of year should make this Illustration Art card a hotly sought after one.
#10 Mew ex – Rainbow
There are so many gorgeous cards coming out in Dual Fusion that any number of them could make this spot. However, Mew takes the cake for a few reasons. For starters, this is a particularly interesting Mew Rainbow border special art card, depicting Mew surounded by ruins. This is an astute nod to the origins and lore of this Pokémon – from which the DNA of all Pokémon originated.
Mew is almost always sought after when it gets an alt art card like this, making it one of the top chase cards of the set.
Clearly, Pokémon means business with Dual Fusion. With an incredible number of gorgeous cards to chase, multiple Immersive Arts, and special missions to try out, Pokémon Pocket feels poised for another exceptional year.
