Stunning Mega Absol Z ex and More Aura Seeker Pokémon Cards Officially Revealed
Aura Seeker has been officially revealed with a November 27, 2026 release date. While folks in the States and the rest of the world are still gearing up for the Rayquaza-themed Delta Reign set that will be releasing in just a few weeks, Japan is already getting a treasure trove of spoilers for their last set release of the year.
Of course, Aura Seeker won’t be the name the set goes by when it releases internationally. The English name for this Lucario-themed set has yet to be officially revealed, though rumors and early revealed cards suggest it will be called Flowing Fists. It was first hinted at when the three below cards were revealed during Pokémon Worlds 2026.
That name makes sense given the Mega Lucario Z ex card that is this set’s headliner.
Aura Seeker features a gorgeous Mega Absol Z ex
While several more cards have been revealed for Japan’s upcoming set, the one that caught my eye immediately is this stunning Absol card. If I had to name one weakness of mine as a Pokémon TCG writer, it would be to say way too many Pokémon are “one of my favorites.” But Absol has long been a favorite of mine. I just love the aloof nature of this Pokémon, its edgy vibe, and how hard it was to catch back in the games.
Yet this Mega Z look is the coolest it’s looked so far – a huge step above even the regular Mega Evolution form.

Pokémon Japan releases a fist-pounding trailer for Aura Seeker
The first official trailer for Aura Seeker was also revealed. And while it’s not exactly conveying deep lore, the battle sequence between Mega Lucario Z, Garchomp, and Mega Absol Z is genuinely exciting. And because Lucario remains a modestly popular Pokémon, making it the frontrunner for the set makes sense, even if whatever Special Illustration Rare it gets won’t likely fare much better than the middling prices we’ve seen for Mega Darkrai ex, or Mega Greninja ex.
Suffice to say Aura Seeker is shaping up to be a very fun set, if not nearly as focused on a hugely bankable chase like the upcoming Mega Rayquaza SIR in Delta Reign.
