Sword Art Online: Celebrate Kirito and Asuna’s Birthday with this Fractured Daydream Quest

Oct 13

2026 is a big year for Sword Art Online, and not just the franchise. It’s a big year for the canonical timeline. This September 30, 2026 marked the canon birthday for Asuna. One week later, Kirito celebrated his own birthday. To mark the event, Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream is celebrating with a special birthday quest themed around Ragout Rabbit.

Celebrate Asuna and Kirito’s Birthdays for a limited time and get special rewards

Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream Asuna Celebration Quest

For new players looking to grind their way to the top levels, these Celebration Quests are actually really good news. They’re playable regardless of your rank, and they quickly add experience to your characters. I jumped my character rank from single digits up to rank 17. And you aren’t limited to how often you can do it – improving your score unlocks additional player rank experience points.

All you have to do is slice your way through as many Ragout Rabbits as you can in a short amount of time and you’ll get special items, including a gold uniform for both Kirito and Asuna.

Getting a high score is a lot harder than you might think. While the Ragout Rabbits don’t deal much damage to you, they will knock you over. This slows you down and wastes what little time you have to get as many of them as possible.

Different Ragout Rabbits appear to have different levels of status. I haven’t looked into this too much, but I would prioritize the more impressive looking ones (you’ll see some with crowns and even some gold ones).

Asuna’s best skill to use against these rabbits is her Ultimate. Moving in one straight line and doing a ton of damage along the way will earn you a lot of points in this game mode. However, the rabbits will accumulate towards the end of the allotted time, meaning that saving this skill until a bunch of them are right in front of you will get you the biggest bang for your buck.

Access this special Celebration quest via your lobby – just choose it from your game mode menu. Asuna’s birthday celebration quest is available until October 29, 2026, while Kirito’s will stay available until November 6. This gives you plenty of time to farm rabbits for player rank and items, as well as let you dive into the other birthday celebration quests that are currently active – including one for Silica!
