The Most Expensive Dual Impact Gundam Cards
The Gundam Card Game’s highly anticipated second set, Dual Impact, has officially arrived and with it a bevy of gorgeous alternate art cards – some worth a hefty price. But which Dual Impact cards are the most valuable? Below we’ll be covering the top chase cards from the set including what makes them stand out to both players and collectors.
#1 Gundam Barbatos 1st Form – LR++
Market price: $550
Starting things off in style with this unique take on the Gundam Barbatos 1st Form. This card is from the very exciting and powerful new purple color and also marks an incredibly high market price for a Gundam card. One thing I particularly like about both of the LR++ Gundam cards from the set is the unique gold accents on key elements of the card, giving it that extra, hyper valuable feel.
#2 GQuuuuuuX (Omega Psycommu) – LR++
Market price: $457
The other major chase is the GQuuuuuuX LR++, another key card to one of the main new strategies in Dual Impact. An impressive price tag well over the $400 price tag even for a runner up chase card like this one is an impressive achievement – just more supporting evidence of how big Gundam already is.
#3 Gundam Epyon – LR+
Market price: $103.52
Moving on from the LR++ cards at the top of the heap, the next card on the list is the Gundam Epyon from the immensely popular Gundam Wing series. This card boasts a powerful collection of stats and abilities. However, it’s the gorgeous and unique flair with which it is designed that really sets it apart as a unique chase, harkening back to some of the motifs we saw explored in the original Gundam Beta expansion.
#4 Gundam Barbatos 1st Form – LR+
Market price: $76.59
The Gundam Barbatos 1st Form’s LR+ version may be a far cry in value from the LR++, but it’s still a solidly expensive card right now. Plus it benefits from some pretty incredible, hyper-realistic artwork. I would not be disappointed at all with finding one of these guys in my pack.
#5 Pyscho Gundam – LR+
Market price: $63.97
This alternate art of the Psycho Gundam features a very retro vibe that would look great on a shelf or in a double sleeved deck to flex some max rarity.
#6 Haman Karn – R+
Market price: $53.87
Haman Karn gets the distinction of being the most expensive alternate art Pilot from Dual Impact so far.
#7 Gundam Gusion Rebake – LR+
Market price: $52.50
I love the risk taking this design employs by going with what looks like a hyper realistic chalk painting, etching this epic Gundam into life as one of the most expensive cards in the set, and also a very strong one for those looking to build new purple decks.
#8 Four Murasame – R+
Market price: $46.09
This enchanting artwork features a memorable character that brings another draw engine into the game. While that’s based largely around healing as a means for drawing, it’s still nice to see both unique artworks like this and unique new mechanics entering the game with the second Gundam set.
#9 Zeta Gundam – LR+
Market price: $41.68
Getting back to the Gundams – the Zeta Gundam LR+ may not deliver any unique artistic vibes like some of the other cards in the set. But it more than makes up for that with the photorealistic awesomeness that originally drew many to the Gundam Card Game.
#10 GQuuuuuuX Resource – C++
Market price:
Alternate art resource cards are always a fun way to customize the extra cards in your deck, and the LR++ Resource from Dual Impact looks fantastic.
