The Top 10 Fantastical Parade Chase Cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket
Fantastical Parade releases worldwide on January 28, 2026 and brings with it new mechanics and cards into Pokemon TCG Pocket for the first time, including Stadiums making their debut. Below, we’ll be taking a look at the top chase cards from Pokemon TCG Pocket Fantastical Parade – a celebratory set perfect to start out 2026 – the year Pokemon turns 30!
#1 Mega Gardevoir ex Immersive Art
While there are many breathtaking alternate artworks in Fantastical Parade, choosing the top chase card for the set feels pretty strightforward – it’s this stunning Mega Gardevoir ex card. It’s the first time Mega Gardevoir ex has entered the world of Pokemon TCG Pocket, but apart from that this Immersive Art card is something to behold.
#2 Meowth ex Immersive Art
While Mega Gardevoir ex may headline the show, fans will also notice a pesky favorite lurking in the background. While its made headlines for its inclusion in the upcoming Perfect Order Pokemon TCG set, Pocket gets it too – the infamous and lovable Meowth! Featuring stellar, celebratory artwork, it’s hard not to get excited about this festival and all the top tier cards to chase.
#3 Alolan Ninetails ex Rainbow-bordered
Ninetails has always been one of the more elegant Pokemon around, but in its Alolan version, it’s gorgeous. It doesn’t hurt that this is the evolved form of the famous Snowy Alolan Vulpix owned by popular trainer Lille, and the rainbow border adds flair to make any Pokemon TCG hunter envious.
#4 Diantha – Super Rare
Lest we forget, the Pokemon world is about more than just its famous creatures – people play a huge role in the universe, too, and few are more influential than Diantha. Diantha is known for being the Champion of the Kalos region where she is a woman of many talents – including being a top tier trainer and a famous actress. Meanwhile, she is perhaps best known for being the trainer of her own powerful Gardevoir – one that can devastate even the strongest foes when in its Mega form.
She’s the perfect trainer to “support” this celebration set headlined by Mega Gardevoir ex itself.
#5 Teal Mask Ogerpon ex – Rainbow-bordered
Admittedly, I may be choosing the Teal Mask Ogerpon ex for nostalgic reasons. I was a huge fan of the Kitakami arc in the Scarlet & Violet video games where Ogerpon plays a huge role. That DLC adventure similarly featured a festival scene, making Teal Mask Ogerpon ex and its eye catching illustration feel perfectly at home in this set.
#6 Umbreon ex – Shiny Super Rare
You absolutely cannot feature a shiny secret rare Umbreon in any Pokemon set and not have it in the top chase cards. If this card were printed in cardboard rather than digitally, it would absolutely be worth BANK. As it is, even in digital form this card is enough to make me shudder knowing how many packs are about to be ripped in hopes of obtaining it.
#7 Lugia ex – Super Shiny Rare
While Umbreon ex may be the top shiny chase, Lugia ex is close behind. This phenomenally popular Pokemon harkens back to Pokemon’s earliest days, and many Lugia chase cards are legendary for their high value and elegant beauty.
#8 Salemence Illustration Art Rare
I absolutely cannot hide that I am a sucker for dragon Pokemon – always have been, and always will be. There’s something about their power and majesty that just feels right to me even to this day. Yet here is a particularly gorgeously rendered depiction of one of Pokemon’s most recognizable dragon types. Salemence may not be up there with the likes of Rayquaza in terms of bankability, but this epic chase through the skies surrounded by merging colors of orange blue, red and purple should be enough to send many Pokemon Pocket collectors into a frenzy.
#9 Mega Mawille ex – Rainbow Bordered
While Mega Mawile can’t hope to compete with the likes of Gardevoir in terms of popularity, this Pokemon also makes its debut in Fantastical Parade to great effect, merging the hues of Mega Evolution into a comic style card that is reminiscent of the Mega Attack Rares from the physical TCG.
#10 Mega Kangaskhan ex – Rainbow Bordered
Last but not lest is the Mega Kangaskhan ex Rainbow-bordered card, showing the fiery duo alert and ready to battle in the way only Mega Pokemon can!
Fantastical Parade is a huge set filled to the brim with gorgeous cards to collect. Shiny Eeveelutions, nostalgic favorites, and new faces make up this set’s roster. Yet it’s the celebratory theme that hits home the hardest for me – making me realize that this year really is one big celebration for Pokemon fans as we all cheer for 30 years of Pokemon!
