The Best Sealed Pokemon TCG Products to Buy in 2025

Looking for the best sealed Pokemon TCG products to buy this holiday season?

In this article, we’re going to get into the specifics of which Pokemon TCG products released in 2025 provide the best combination of fun and value for Pokemon card collectors – whether that’s to look for chase cards or to invest in sealed products for value.

With that being said, here are the best Pokemon sealed products to buy right now.

#1 Mega Charizard X ex Ultra Premium Collection

The best Pokemon TCG product of 2025

Market price: $172

Buy on TCGPlayer

The Mega Charizard X ex Ultra Premium Collection was arguably the single hottest product released alongside Phantasmal Flames – and for good reason. This UPC is one of the very best we’ve had in a long time, with also the best promo in the form of the Mega Attack Mega Charizard X ex promo card – a card that feels destined to be an instant classic.

I reviewed the Mega Charizard X ex UPC on Phantasmal Flames release day and was blown away by its contents and value-to-price ratio. As time passes and fervor for Phantasmal Flames chase cards cools, this product has become an even stronger value thanks to a lower market price. It’s not a stretch to say that the Mega Charizard X ex UPC is the breakout Pokemon TCG product of the year, and one destined to make just about any Pokemon collector and fan happy this holiday season.

#2 Team Rocket’s Moltres Ultra Premium Collection

A highly collectible GameStop exclusive

Market price $244

Buy on TCGPlayer

This GameStop exclusive Team Rocket’s Moltres ex UPC is a considerable step up from last year’s GameStop exclusive that featured Greninja. First of all, it almost miraculously includes one of the most gorgeous Destined Rivals chase cards – the beautiful and exciting Team Rocket’s Moltres ex Special Illustration Rare.

Releasing on Black Friday, this would make for an ultimate gift to the Pokemon TCG afficianado in your life. However, its limited distribution via GameStop makes this product even harder to come by, meaning many will have to duke it out for it on the secondary card market.

As hard as it is to believe, you’re better off going with the Mega Charizard X ex UPC this year – a product that is both arguably better and easier to come by.

#3 Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box

The most hyped ETB in years

Prismatic Evolutions

Market price: $122

Buy on TCGPlayer

Prismatic Evolutions blew everyone away when it came out, causing drama, product shortages, all while delivering one of the very best Pokemon TCG sets in years. While a really good Pokemon set will have one or two epic chase cards, Prismatic Evolutions has more than thirty decent chase cards, with the top ten being worth over $100 each. And that’s not even really mentioning the once in a Pokemon era chase that the Umbreon ex SIR certainly is.

Indeed, Prismatic Evolutions remains such a hot set to this date that its ETB still goes for over $100 on the secondary card market. The price may be high, but this set has shown its resiliency in value and would make the perfect gift or buy especially for anyone with a love for Eeveelutions.

#4 Prismatic Evolutions Super Premium Collection

Total Eeveelution overload

Prismatic Evolutions UPC

Market price $272

Buy on TCGPlayer

The ETB is a great entry point product for someone desiring Prismatic Evolutions fun, but the Super Premium Collection is where the rubber really meets the road. Going for more than twice the market price for the ETB, the Super Premium Collection boasts incredible value thanks to its 15 booster packs, gorgeous playmat, quirky deck box, and a very special Eevee promo designed by an acclaimed Japanese chef.

Clearly this product is not for the average fan, but the perfect fit for the most die-hard collectors who absolutely need the experience of opening the hottest product from Pokemon TCG’s hottest set of 2025.

#5 Victini Illustration Collection

A hidden gem

Victini Illustration Collection

Market price: $41.65

Buy on TCGPlayer

Black Bolt and White Flare is an excellent set for collectors, complete with some very unique chase cards like the Black White Rare cards, but also filled to the brim with other Special Illustration Rare and regular Illustration Rare cards that are both gorgeous, collectible, and valuable.

Indeed, there have been so many crazy hyped sets released in 2025 that even a massive joint one like Black Bolt and White Flare can get overlooked – but it shouldn’t be. If you need proof of why this set is no light weight, just look at the numbers: four out of ten of the most expensive new Pokemon cards of 2025 hail from this humble, joint set.

But when you have the chance to pull a Black White Rare card worth hundreds of dollars and a crazy Illustration Rare of a toad that’s worth well over $100 all in two thematically-themed packs, it’s hard to say no to it. And that – along with a tranquil Victini promo worth a little bit of money – is what makes this Illustration Collection containing both Black Bolt and White Flare so appealing.

#6 Mega Evolution Enhanced Booster Box

The top product from 2025’s most well-rounded Pokemon set

Mega Evolution Enhanced Booster

Market price $239

Buy on TCGPlayer

Mega Evolutions is an incredibly good set that seems to almost get overlooked. Despite having an impressive array of top Mega Pokemon chase cards to collect, it tends to be a little more affordable than some of the other sets released lately. Yet, you can’t ignore the insanely valuable Mega Hyper Rare cards introduced into the Pokemon TCG in this set, nor the brilliant SIR cards worth a hefty price.

What really makes this Enhanced Booster Box worth the price isn’t just the chance to pull one of these epic cards – it’s the fact that it comes preloaded with the beautiful Bulbusaur Illustration Rare stamped promo included as an added bonus.

#7 The Pokemon TCG Holiday Calendar 2025

Christmas fun for all ages

Market price: $69

Buy on TCGPlayer

And, finally, there’s the Pokemon TCG Holiday or Advent Calendar. This is the product you are after if the name of the game to you is fun rather than maximum value. And that’s alright given the Advent Calendar’s relatively affordable entry point on the market right now.

While I’ve always been a fan of this product in years past, the 2025 Pokemon TCG Advent Calendar showed a marked improvement over previous years, and included some gorgeous alternate art cards directly within the product.

While it still leans too heavily into fun packs that really aren’t all that fun, it’s a great gift for the holiday season for younger Pokemon TCG fans, or anyone looking to add in a daily dose of fun into their lives.
