Every Pokémon TCG Product Releasing this July: Mega Greninja & Pitch Black in the Spotlight
July is shaping up to be a massive month for the Pokémon TCG filled to the brim with exciting new products releasing for the first time. Of course, with Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution – Pitch Black releasing on July 17, 2026, most of the top products to watch this month have to do with that spooky-cool set.
But to start things out we also have a special treat for Mega Greninja fans.

Releasing July 3, 2026
Coming out very soon, the Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection is the perfect palate cleanser for Chaos Rising fans. While the rest of the products on this list are Pitch Black-themed, Greninja fans will love this particular collection. Not only does it include a Mega Greninja ex card, it also comes with an “oversize lenticular” promo card featuring Mega Greninja ex, one tech sticker featuring Mega Greninja, and eight Pokémon TCG Booster Packs.
Releasing July 4, 2026
The Pitch Black Build & Battle Box is unique as you won’t find it at your local department store. The best way to pick one of these up (other than via the button above via my partners at TCGPlayer) is to attend a Pitch Black Prerelease tournament. These events are a fun opportunity to pull rare cards, and try out the new strategies available in Pitch Black. Each box contains:
• A 40-card ready-to-play deck, including 1 of 4 unique foil promo cards
• 4 Pokémon booster packs
• A code card for Pokémon TCG Live

Of course Pitch Black products would feature heavily in July’s product rundown. July is, after all, the month this epic set releases. As I shared in my Pitch Black preorder guide, Booster Boxes are the best way to get the best value per pack if you are looking for a lot of packs to open. Like every other Mega Evolution Booster Box, the Pitch Black Booster Box has a very solid 36 packs in it, with each pack containing 10 cards and one Basic Energy.

Next up we have arguably the most popular of all the Pokémon products on this list: the Pitch Black Elite Trainer Box featuring Mega Darkrai on the box. Elite Trainer Boxes are always a major hit with Pokémon TCG fans. They pack plenty of packs (nine in the regular one, and eleven in the Pokémon Center exclusive) and accessories to get excited about: not to mention an exclusive full-art foil promo card featuring Zarude.
The reason for the market price difference between the two ETBs is largely thanks to the promo. The Pokémon Center stamp drives a lot of value for promos, making them much more valuable than their regular ETB promo counterparts.
Releasing July 17, 2026
The last major product seeing its release this month is the Pitch Black Booster Bundle. It’s a product that’s ideal for those looking to have fun opening the latest Pokémon TCG pack at a budget. Complete with six Pitch Black booster packs, you get much more value-per-pack with this product than you would buying a simple blister or single pack. However, it’s not nearly the kind of value delivered by picking up an entire Pitch Black Booster Box.

While the Three-Pack Blister is highly desirable for its three packs, one promo all at an affordable price right now on the secondary card market, the Single Pack Blister featuring a Slowpoke promo may be even more attractive, especially for the budget-conscious.
