First BLEACH Vol. 3 UNION ARENA Cards Revealed in English
UNION ARENA BLEACH: Thousand Year Blood War Vol. 3 is UNION ARENA’s first ever Vol. 3. Because of that, it’s also one of the most hyped UNION ARENA sets on the current roadmap/release schedule. And now, the first ever BLEACH Vol. 3 cards have been revealed at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles.
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez
Grimmjow brings the Arrancars into UNION ARENA for the first time. Grimmjow is part of the blue energy color in BLEACH: a color that originally joined the set in BLEACH Vol. 2.
This Grimmjow also looks pretty strong, with card text that reads:
“Name: <Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez>
Card text: When this card is placed into your sideline from your hand due to the effect of <Kurosaki Ichigo> or <Urahara Kisuke> in your field, if the required energy 6 is met and there are no [Trait: Arrancar] other than itself in your field, you may pay 1 AP. If you do, bring this card into play active. This effect of <Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez> can only be activated once per turn.
Trigger: Get”
Just like you see in BLEACH: Thousand Year Blood War “The Calamity,” Grimmjow typically works with other characters like Urahara. That’s likely why Grimmjow’s card here relies on being played by Urahara or Ichigo’s effects.
More BLEACH Vol. 3 cards revealed
