UNION ARENA: Complete Tokyo Ghoul Card List and Guide
The complete Tokyo Ghoul English card list has been revealed!
Below, find everything you need to know about the set including every single card, secret rare/alternate art, product info, promo cards, and more!
Tokyo Ghoul Yellow cards
Tokyo Ghoul Purple cards
Tokyo Ghoul Red cards
Action Point cards
Tokyo Ghoul alternate art cards
Tokyo Ghoul has a range of impressive and highly collectible alternate art or “secret rare” cards that you can get in booster packs. While many of these are gorgeous and likely to be highly valuable/collectible, the two standouts to me are easily the serialized AP cards.
Unlike with Solo Leveling – the first English Version set to get serialized AP cards – Tokyo Ghoul’s serialized APs will not have hand signatures from the cast.
Tokyo Ghoul products
Now for the fun part: where you actually get your hands on the boxes that will let you pull your desired card. Tokyo Ghoul is the first UNION ARENA set since Evangelion to get a starter deck packaged into it. so let’s start with taking a look at that.
Tokyo Ghoul Starter Deck
-
Ready-to-play 50-card deck x 1
Action Point Cards x 3
Playsheet x 1
Starter Deck Rare Card Promo Pack x 1
While the Tokyo Ghoul starter deck may be a step down when compared to the last two starter decks in the game, it should still be fairly popular as the deck will likely be strong enough to do well competitively. When fully upgraded, the starter deck will likely be a strong A-tier contender into the English meta. Not top tier, but upper-mid tier.

As per usual, the Tokyo Ghoul will include a promotional pack that includes key cards for the other two energy colors. You can see the regular version of the cards below, as well as their rarer alternate art versions.
Tokyo Ghoul Booster Box
The best way to get your hands on Tokyo Ghoul products is to get your hands on one or more booster boxes. Luckily this time around they are a bit more affordable than they were when Solo Leveling dropped.
Each booster box will include a special box topper pack that includes a special foil common card inside. These are often included in decks by players looking for a max rarity feel for their favorite build.
Tokyo Ghoul Booster Box case
And while booster boxes are really cool, I personally recommend serious players or collectors to purchase a booster box case if they are wanting to heavily invest in a set. While booster boxes are great for getting a few cool alts and for building one or two decks, if you’re looking to build every single deck from a set or really want a guaranteed SR** or foil AP, getting a case actually gets you the best value.
A case includes 16 Tokyo Ghoul booster boxes, and guaranteed hit rates unlike loose booster boxes which could potentially be from a “dead case” that’s already seen the top chase cards pulled from it.
If you are really, really serious about Tokyo Ghoul I recommend purchasing a case and then just selling what you don’t need. The value makes the case worth it!
Tokyo Ghoul promo cards
Lastly, we have the promos. These are event exclusive promo cards that you won’t be able to get from the booster boxes or starter decks.
Release Event promo
Those who attend a UNION ARENA: Tokyo Ghoul release event will get this alt art Sasaki card just for participating. Anyone who wins a release event will get the same card only in foil with the Winner stamp on it.
Store tournament winner
This sick looking Ken Kaneki card is only obtainable by topping a UNION ARENA store tournament. I’ve already won mine, and it looks gorgeous in person.
Meanwhile, you can get these cool Tokyo Ghoul marker cards just for participating in a store tournament.
