UNION ARENA September ‘26 Rare Battle Promos Revealed
Who is ready for some September UNION ARENA Rare Battle action?
While last season’s Rare Battles featuring Solo Leveling, SAKAMOTO DAYS, and Tokyo Ghoul were pretty heated given the intense competition just to get into these events, that excitement shouldn’t be any less intense for September given how instantly iconic these UNION RARE promos actually are.
September 2026 Rare Battles will run from September 4-October 2, 2026, and will feature:
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
100 Girlfriends
Chainsaw Man
Inuyasha
The Winner UNION RARE promos pictured above contain the Winner Stamp, meaning they will only be going to the first place player from the tournament. Typically, these promos are a little more expensive than their UNION RARE counterparts.
You can see the UNION RARE version without the stamp below.
September Rare Battle promos have the 2nd Year Anniversary Stamp
Just like last year’s 1st Year Anniversary promos, Rare Battle promos will bear the 2nd Anniversary stamp – celebrating another successful year of UNION ARENA and giving something just a little extra special to these cards. Pictured above are the rarer (and more valuable) gold cards you can get from participation packs just for attending a UNION ARENA Rare Battle.
Below are the less rare – but still cool – silver foil cards.
Will there be any changes to prizing for September’s UNION ARENA Rare Battles?
Mid-2026, UNION ARENA Rare Battles faced a well-documented and controversial structural change that fundamentally shifted the way players experience the unique tournament format.
Essentially, Rare Battles became more exclusive, with only top tier Bandai stores being allowed to host them, while the tournament size also decreased from an allowed 16 players down to just 8.
As if that weren’t difficult enough, prizing was also cut in half. Instead of the top four finishers getting a UNION RARE promo, only second place would get one.
Could Rare Battle prizing increase in September?
Right now, the official UNION ARENA announcement for the September Rare Battles suggests that the prizing will increase once again to the top 4 finishers. However, this could be an artifact from earlier Rare Battles, not necessarily a change to prizing.
Companies often templatize recurring announcements like this on their websites. So if the Rare Battle template on the UNION ARENA site hasn’t been updated, you could see that prizing cut in half once again.
Or maybe it’s a sign that Rare Battles will get just a little bit better in September. Stay tuned for more updates but until we know what the prizing structure for Rare Battles will be, I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
One thing we do know for sure, however: with the collection of gorgeous UNION RARE promos on offer, combined with the almost-as-good participation promos, these Rare Battles are going to be HOT no matter the structure.
Make sure to sign up early to ensure your spot in the tournament before they are all taken!
