UNION ARENA Winner Cards Vol. 3 Keep the Excitement Going
We may still be in the middle of Vol. 2’s winner card tournament season for 2025, but Bandai has already released what the winner cards are going to be for Vol. 3 taking place from July-September. I wrote about how excited I was for cards like the two-cost Asuna and the zero-cost Ichigo that came out in Vol. 2 but Vol. 3 is shaping up to be just as exciting. Also noteably, it’s the first set of winner cards we’ve had for store tournaments with more than three cards.
2025 Store Tournament Vol. 3 Winner Cards
Below, let’s take a look at each and every winner card you can win from UNION ARENA Store Tournaments in Q3 of this year, as well as stuff you get just from participating.
Blue C.C.
Back in the very first store tournament we had with UNION ARENA, the original Pizza C.C. was the definitive chase, and copies of her (early on) were selling for a decent amount of money. I think this C.C. has the opportunity to be a pretty hotly chased card as well, although there are so many good options this time around there could be more than one top card.
As for the card itself – it’s going to be part of a new Code Geass Blue deck – an energy color that was not previously available to the anime. This C.C. reminds me of the purple one-cost C.C. we already have, although she had greater BP and grants Nullify Impact to another character on the field.
Roy Mustang
Roy Mustang hails from the highly anticipated Fullmetal Alchemist set coming out in July. Although the card effect isn’t something we haven’t seen before (it’s essentially the same effect Nezuko from Yellow Demon Slayer has), the artwork certainly is unique. I especially enjoy the unique card border featuring the character’s name.
Mikasa Ackermann
There’s not much to say about this card other than it’s a draw-one-sideline-one zero cost character. However, I could see this card competing with C.C. for most desirable given Mikasa’s general popularity. Also, I’m not sure if you noticed but this set has three different blue cards in it out of the four which is pretty crazy.
Suguru Geto
Finally we have Geto which will be part of the new red JJK card list, granting handy search capabilities to that energy color.
Participation prizes
Of course part of the fun of attending store tournaments is getting the free stuff for just showing up. This includes exclusive artworks for cards from new releases, as well as exclusive Action Point cards which can even be foil. You can see all of these via the gallery below.
If the quality of these promos are any indicator of Bandai’s commitment to the game, then we could expect even bigger and better things for UNION ARENA in the future. As it is, I can’t wait to compete for these stellar cards.
