Zorua Illustration Rare Revealed Ahead of Delta Reign
A new Illustration Rare card was officially revealed in English today for the first time: Zorua from the next main Pokémon TCG set, Delta Reign. Delta Reign will release on November 6, 2026 and is focused on the legendary Mega Rayquaza.
Zorua presents a whimsical take against a memorable backdrop
In this artwork by GOSSAN, Zorua is strolling over the rooftops of what looks like Crown City’s old quarter – the setting for the fun Master of Illusions Pokémon Movie. That’s a major selling point for this card: Crown City has a unique mix of urban sprawl and an old quarter that has undeniably European influences.
What’s more than the artwork, however, is that this Illustration Rare is also the final of the three promos originally released in the MEGA Starter Set ex Decks in Japan. The others were Sprigatito and a particularly loveable Eevee.
Zorua’s official confirmation further solidifies what we’ve known. At this point, it’s pretty clear that the Delta Reign English set list will be a combination of the MEGA Starter Set ex Decks and Storm Emeralda, which released an incredible three months ahead of the international release.
Growlithe Illustration Rare
Zorua isn’t the only recently revealed Illustration Rare card in English, however. The other is a Growlithe IR that was dropped by Radio Times in late September.
Apart from Eevee, Growlithe is another original 151 Pokémon featured on a gorgeous alt art print. While not likely to be worth a stellar amount, it’s shown some favorability on the market already in its Japanese version.

With a solid collection of chase cards, and a top chase card that’s to die for, Delta Reign is showing a significant amount of momentum despite many thinking its thunder might be stolen by 30th Celebration. If anything, the fun of Pokémon’s anniversary set may have only kindled the excitement for the Rayquaza-themed set coming out in November.
Stay tuned for more Delta Reign spoilers as we approach the official release date!
