UNION ARENA BLEACH Vol. 3 Release Date, Solo Leveling Reprint, Card Restrictions, and New English Producer
Sometimes, the biggest UNION ARENA news comes totally out of the blue! Today on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, a bunch of powerful UNION ARENA news hit the waves, including the release date of the BLEACH Thousand Year Blood War Vol. 3 booster, a new and exciting UNION ARENA deck to accompany it, imminent card restrictions, a Solo Leveling reprint, and the loss of everyone’s favorite Global Producer, Akari Fujimoto, from the English version.
NIKKE Precious Booster pack update
The NIKKE Precious Booster pack has already been announced, but we’re getting more info about it!
MSRP: $5.99
Includes 4 cards per pack
1 Booster Pack will have 4 cards
1 display box will have 10 packs
1 case will have 20 display boxes
NIKKE fans should be pretty stoked about this news, and you can expect these precious booster packs to be in very high demand when they release on October 23, 2026.
BLEACH Thousand Year Blood War Vol. 3 release date and new product
The thing I’m most excited about from this latest announcement is that we now finally have a release date for BLEACH Thousand Year Blood War Vol. 3!
An advanced deck – a first for UNION ARENA – will be releasing on November 6th: the very same day that the BLEACH Vol. 3 Booster Pack releases. The official release date for the English version BLEACH Thousand Year Blood War Vol. 3 set had not previously been announced, making this a double whammy. Not only do we know we will be getting Vol. 3 in 2026, but we will also be getting an “Advanced Deck,” something which the UNION ARENA team positions as “All-Foil Pre-Built Deck.”
My guess is that not only will these cards be all foiled, this deck will likely be more competitive than a starter deck, and you probably won’t have to buy two of these in order to play given the higher MSRP: $25 for a single deck.
BLEACH: Thousand Year Blood War Advanced deck details:
MSRP: $25
Pre-Built Deck (50 foil cards) and 1 playmat sheet
Release date: November 6, 2026
Bandai counters insane Solo Leveling demand with a reprint
If you don’t know about the insane hype for UNION ARENA’s Solo Leveling set, you may be living under a rock. To help counter this demand, Bandai is sending a ton more products to stores in April, 2026 via a reprint run – something which will help make Solo Leveling considerably more affordable than its still high price tag.
As if that weren’t enough, Bandai will also be making Booster Boxes available on Premium Bandai, which is pretty killer. Expect those sales to go quickly.
New card restrictions will be hitting UNION ARENA English Version mid-April
Perhaps to stave off some vitriol from players tired of still seeing the same Evangelion and/or Kenshin decks topping everything, upcoming restrictions to cards have been teased for the UNION ARENA English Version.
While we don’t know yet what these restrictions will be exactly, one could certainly guess what they might be based on the restrictions recently announced for the Japanese version of the game. I won’t get into what those were in detail as the UNION ARENA Global Producer states that the restrictions will not be the exact same between the two versions of the game. But my guess is that most likely Purple Gaius will be taking a hit, and likely Red Kenshin as well.
Misaki Kanehara is the new UNION ARENA English Ver. Producer
Akari Fujimoto, UNION ARENA Global Producer (left) with UNION ARENA English Version Producer, Misaki Kanehara
Lastly, and quite sadly, Akari Fujimoto is stepping aside as the producer for the UNION ARENA English Version. While I’m not sure if she is stepping away from UNION ARENA entirely (she’s been managing UNION ARENA around the world so this could just be a shift in priorities), we do know who the next producer for the English version will be: Misaki Kanehara.
Again, I’m a huge fan of Akari and she’s done an insanely good job for the UNION ARENA English Version of the game. If this move is more about putting the focus of a single individual on the blossoming English version instead of having attention split between two different markets and versions of the game, this could signal an increase in investment in UNION ARENA English Version. The game no doubt has fire – as Solo Leveling’s hype proves. So I’m glad the future of the game remains in good – and very focused – hands via Misaki.
