Last Minute Sword Art Online October Prime Day Deals
I’ve been writing about various October Prime Day deals since before October, but one area that I’ve only touched on is also one of my favorites: Sword Art Online. There are several SAO deals you should know about before Prime Day is over.
#1 Listen to Sword Art Online Audiobooks (voiced by the original English cast)
Sword Art Online 21: Unital Ring I
Current Amazon Price
$0.00 (as of 04:32 PM)
Prices and availability subject to change. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
The first thing you should consider right now is the excellent Audible membership deal that’s running. Why Audible? Because Sword Art Online has many incredible audiobooks you can listen to, voiced by the original English voice acting cast – in particular the voices of Asuna and Kirito!
I’ve listened to many, many of the SAO audiobooks at this time. Indeed, listening is my favorite way to experience the stories, especially those that have not yet been adapted to the anime.
If there’s one SAO purchase you could make via Prime Day right now, it’s the Audible membership.
#2 Catch up on recent manga
Sword Art Online Progressive Canon of the Golden Rule, Vol. 1 (manga) (Volume 1)
Current Amazon Price
$9.49 (as of 04:34 PM)
🔥 Save 27% ($3.51)
Prices and availability subject to change. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
While there are many different SAO manga both in existence and on discount, one of the best deals I’ve found is for the relatively recent Progressive manga.
Based on the sixth floor of Aincrad, this Sword Art Online Progressive manga drew me in with its unique take on its character design for Asuna and Kirito. Not to mention floor six has some stellar moments between the two as they attempt to clear its many puzzles and challenges.
Sword Art Online Unital Ring, Vol. 3 (manga) (Volume 3)
Current Amazon Price
$11.05 (as of 04:48 PM)
🔥 Save 15% ($1.95)
Prices and availability subject to change. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
While this recent Progressive manga may have the best discount right now, you can also get a discount on the latest Unital Ring manga adaptation. This is excellent for fans wanting to experience the happenings beyond where the anime left off as we wait for the next season/movie to air.
Sword Art Online Ordinal Scale, Vol. 1 (manga) (Volume 1)
Current Amazon Price
$12.35 (as of 04:49 PM)
🔥 Save 5% ($0.65)
Prices and availability subject to change. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Lastly, I highly recommend the Ordinal Scale manga. This manga is a very close adaptation to the film, and features bonus content that was never showed in the anime.
#3 Read the original light novel
Sword Art Online 1: Aincrad
Current Amazon Price
$12.80 (as of 04:35 PM)
🔥 Save 20% ($3.20)
Prices and availability subject to change. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Get the original light novel that inspired a phenomenon and would go on to change the history of anime as we know it. Sword Art Online Vol. 1 is an insanely popular book, having recently celebrated its 100th printing. And it’s not hard to see why: the book is seriously good. Like…better than the anime good.
Don’t believe me? Read it for yourself and find out – it’s currently available at a solid 2s0% discount.
#4 Join in the fun with Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream
SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream NSW
Current Amazon Price
$27.68 (as of 04:37 PM)
🔥 Save 8% ($2.31)
Prices and availability subject to change. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Despite celebrating its 2nd anniversary this month, I only recently picked up Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream game for my Nintendo Switch. It’s available right now for a slight discount. Still, it’s an excellent pick if you are new to the SAO video games as it takes place directly after where the anime left off.
What drew me to this particular game is the ongoing support the game gets, like the release of the beloved Integrity Knight Eydis just this month.
#5 Get a discount on Echoes of Aincrad
SWORD ART ONLINE: Echoes of Aincrad - PlayStation 5
Current Amazon Price
$65.99 (as of 04:41 PM)
🔥 Save 6% ($4.00)
Prices and availability subject to change. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
By far the bigger Sword Art Online game released this year, however, is Echoes of Aincrad. The game peaked at over 12,000 concurrent players earlier this year, and still has a lot of interest in it, as well as new content (like the upcoming Mito character release).
The current discount really isn’t anything to write home about, but I thought I’d include it for those looking to pick up one of the hottest new SAO releases.
SWORD ART ONLINE: Echoes of Aincrad Ultimate Edition - PlayStation 5
Current Amazon Price
$90.19 (as of 04:45 PM)
🔥 Save 18% ($19.80)
Prices and availability subject to change. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
If you are a hardcore SAO fan, you may want the Echoes of Aincrad Ultimate Edition. This version is available at a much greater discount – nearly 20% right now, which isn’t bad for such a new game. Pick up the ULTIMATE EDITION for some pretty exciting benefits that include the Unanswered//butterfly anime and more:
Base Game
Death Game Mode Early Unlock
Expansion Pack (Expansion DLC + Starter Pack that includes 50,000 Col, High Healing Potion x 10, High SP Potion x 10, and Mystic Crystal x 10)
And the Ultimate Pack (Ultimate Pack that includes Special Anime, Digital Soundtrack, and Digital Artbook + Armor Pack)
#6 Get the latest Sword Art Online light novel
Sword Art Online 28 (light novel) (Volume 28)
Current Amazon Price
$13.60 (as of 04:50 PM)
🔥 Save 15% ($2.40)
Prices and availability subject to change. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Last but not least, get the latest Sword Art Online light novel, Vol. 28, at 15% off! It’s the perfect way to read the latest chapter of the main SAO light novel story. What’s more, this volume is one of my favorites, with plenty of suspense, epic battles, and reunions with beloved characters never seen in the main SAO storyline before.
