Mega Chandelure ex Double Rare and More Pitch Black Cards Revealed in English

We are now less than two weeks out from the official release of Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution – Pitch Black (July 17, 2026) and we have a few more English Pokémon card reveals from the set to share with you.

First, we have Mega Chandelure ex

Although Mega Chandelure ex was already revealed in its Special Illustration Rare version, this is the first time we’ve seen the Double Rare in English.

Chandelure’s typing helps: it’s a Psychic Type which isn’t too bad for the current Pokémon TCG meta and its’ Binding Flame/Phantom Maze ability attack promo isn’t too shabby. This card makes for a solid choice for players looking for a fun deck to run online or at their local league, and of course its SIR is absolutely gorgeous.

Koraidon and Miraidon

While we’ve already been granted a sneak peek at Miraidon (it was included as one of this set’s prerelease promos), this is the first time we’ve seen Koraidon.

It’s fun to see these two thematically-tied Pokémon (one ancient, one future) released in a set like Pitch Black. Koraidon isn’t the most powerful Pokémon card in the world but its Battle Claw is decent for just one energy, especially if you just need a little bit of damage to take out an opposing Evolution Pokémon that’s already been weakened.
