Mega Evolution: Delta Reign Revealed – and it’s a Rayquaza Set

The Pokémon Company really loves dropping news of upcoming sets right now. And although the set was already heavily rumored to be coming out, we now have confirmation of a Mega Rayquaza set coming out on November 6, 2026.

The last time we had a Rayquaza set was back in Evolving Skies – one of the most iconic sets of the Pokémon TCG of the last decade. Right now, we know very little about the Delta Reign set other than it will include Mega Rayquaza – oh and we got a sneak peek at the Mega Rayquaza ex card.

It’s not just the Pokémon TCG physical card game that will be getting a Rayquaza set: Mega Rayquaza ex will also be joining Pokémon TCG Pocket just a few months earlier in July, 2026. This is the first time the Pokémon TCG and Pokémon Pocket have coordinated such a tightly themed release. Perhaps we can expect to see more collaboration sets like this in the future?
