Most Expensive Code Geass UNION ARENA Cards
UNION ARENA has performed very well since its debut late this year and part of that is because of the second-to-none artwork included on the chase cards from each set. While UNION ARENA’s fourth set, Code Geass, hit the shelves some time ago, today it’s held up incredibly well in value among its top chase cards.
Below, we’ll be taking a look at the most expensive Code Geass chase cards that are worth anything from $50 to $2000.
#1 Lelouch Lamperouge SR*** Serialized
Serialized cards are an insane addition to the UNION ARENA TCG, giving hardcore collectors something insanely exciting to chase, even if the odds of getting one are less than good. But hey – it can still happen! After all I got a serialized off just two random boxes I picked up at a local shop.
These cards are, however, insanely valuable. I sold mine for $1600 but in reality could have gotten more. From what I’ve seen on the market, you could probably place this card’s value at around $2000 ungraded.
#2 Lelouch Lamperouge SR***
Market price: $346
Although this card is essentially the same card as the one above, the main difference is that it is not the serialized version, making it still very rare but not mythically rare. Right now, it’s going to put you back quite a bit even just buying this version of the card.
#3 Gawain SR**
Market price: $216.63
What do you get when you put C.C., Lelouch, and Gawain in the same, parallel artwork SR** card? Easily one of the top chase cards from all of Code Geass. Artwork and value aside, this card looks very intriguing. While it doesn’t boast the same kind of power as Lancelot, it pairs well with other cards in Code Geass Purple to enable some interesting plays.
#4 Lancelot Air Cavalry SR**
Market price: $154
This is a seriously cool card, and the Lancelot looks even better here than it does in the show. Not only is Suzaku one of the main characters of the series, his card is also undoubtedly one of the strongest in the set. Additionally, Lancelot has retained value reasonably well, and is easily among the most valuable from the set.
#5 C.C. SR**
Market price: $129.78
I have a strong feeling this C.C. card will be number two on the most expensive list for Code Geass. While the card itself looks pretty cool, it’s ultimately going to be the rarity of the card combined with C.C.’s undeniable popularity that will drive this card value to phenomenal heights. Not only is it likely that this card will top the Code Geass charts for most expensive cards, I think she will likely end up being one of the most expensive in the game to date.
#6 Euphemia li Britannia SR**
Market price: $60.64
Not only is Euphemia a beautiful character inside and out, she’s a major driver for the plot in Code Geass. I won’t give away any spoilers other than that, but she plays a huge role in how the story progresses and is in possession of a will every bit as unwavering as Lelouch her brother.
All of that aside, I think her three energy cost pairs very well with Lancelot and could see her making her way into many competitive decks.
#7 Shirley Fenette (081) (SR**)
Market price: $57.83
Despite eventually blending into a bit of the background in the anime, Shirley is an important character and a favorite of many fans of the show. In terms of artwork, this card is a pretty solid depiction of Shirley outside of the school uniform we see her in for much of the show. She’s got a decently strong effect when raided, making her base card version strong in Ashford Academy decks. However, I doubt you’ll want to be playing with the valuable SR** version!
#8 Nunnally SR**
Market price: $47.77
Nunnally being the cheapest of the SR** isn’t exactly surprising. While she’s had her time to shine as part of the Ashford Academy deck, she’s also a central character in Code Geass, making her a nice addition to any collection.
All-in-all, Code Geass has held value very well overtime, with many cards actually being worth more well after the set came out than they were on release. we won’t know the actual value of these cards for some time. Code Geass is an epic anime, but it’s also one of the best sets in UNION ARENA, making this one a memorable set for collectors.
