Most Expensive Demon Slayer Vol. 2 Cards

UNION ARENA: Demon Slayer Vol. 2 is here, and it has gorgeous alternate art cards any fan of the anime is going to want to collect. But which are the top chase cards from the set? Below we’ll take a look at the most expensive Demon Slayer Vol. 2 cards to collect!

#1 Nezuko SR***

Nezuko

Listing price: $900

UNION ARENA has gifted us with one of the most gorgeous SR*** cards to date. My guess is (given some of the early market data for cards like Shinobu) that Nezuko SR*** will end up being among the most expensive UNION ARENA cards, and her serialized SR*** will be the most valuable serialized card of them all. As is the case for all Demon Slayer Vol. 2 chase cards, price values will likely be enhanced this year thanks to the phenomenal success of Infinity Castle – a film which put Demon Slayer on the top of every anime fan’s mind this year.

#2 Shinobu SR**

#2 Shinobu SR**

Market price: $500

Shinobu might have just broken a record for the most expensive SR** UNION ARENA card of all time. While I’ve already detailed my feelings about Shinobu’s character arc in Infinity Castle, it seems many still feel very warmly towards her following the film, and want to bag this collector piece to honor her. It doesn’t hurt she’s a strong card, making her useful in many Demon Slayer Vol. 2 decks.

#3 Kanroji SR**

#3 Kanroji SR**

Listing price: $272

Kanroji is one of the more popular female characters of any contemporary anime, and for many she’s the ultimate waifu. However, she’s also a fantastically strong character in the anime, and a must have in Demon Slayer Blue decks. Of course if she ends up being anywhere near as valuable as Shinobu (which she probably will be), I doubt many will sleeve this particular SR** up and do battle with her. No, surely she’ll end up proudly on many shelves to honor her for the huge chase card she is.

#4 Tengen SR**

#4 Tengen SR**

Market price: $245

Tengen takes a somewhat surprising top spot on this list. While not a competitively powerful card, Tengen clearly has his own fair share of fans on the collector’s side of things. And that makes sense given his flashiness.

#5 Giyu Tomioka

Market price: $187

Giyu is already off to a solid start value-wise – fetching nearly $200. Giyu is a massively prominent character in the Infinity Castle movie, as well as just one of the characters with the most aura in Demon Slayer in general.

#6 Rengoku SR**

Rengoku SR**

Market price: $181

Rengoku has a market price worthy of the flame Hashira, showing just how big of an outsized impact he has had on fans of Demon Slayer.

#7 Tokito SR**

#7 Tokito SR**

Market price: $156

The youngest Hashira is also one of the strongest, and his market price reaches the upper echelons of value not only for Demon Slayer Vol. 2 but also for UNION ARENA in general.

#8 Shinazugawa U**

#8 Shinazugawa U**

Market price: $150

One of the cool things about Demon Slayer Vol. 2 is that we get ** alternate art versions of cards from both the first and second volumes. Shinazugawa hails from the former, and features impressive art and commands a high value. Also interesting about this card is that it’s a double star of an uncommon card – not a very “common” occurrence for double star alts in UNION ARENA.

#9 Gyomei U**

Gyomei U**

Market price: $150

Gyomei is another alternate art version of a card from a previous set. This card was pretty much a powerhouse in the first volume, and many will be glad to add this to their collection.

#10 Obanai C**

Obani

Market price: 138

Quiet and deadly, and complete with a beautiful color scheme, Obanai features a powerful draw effect for the Hashira Demon Slayer deck.

#11 Tanjiro/Nezuko Foil AP

Nezuko/Tanjiro Foil AP

Listing price: Unknown

While this one is totally just a guess, I have a feeling the Tanjiro/Nezuko Foil AP will end up being one of the most expensive Demon Slayer Vol. 2 cards after the set has been out a while. It’s just so quintisentially Demon Slayer that I can’t imagine this one not being one of the most popular foil APs from the game to date. As seasoned UNION ARENA collectors will know, foil APs are among the rarest cards in the game, and some (like my favorite foil Rukia AP) can retain value, very, very well.

That’s it for now for the top Demon Slayer Vol. 2 chase cards. Check back in a week or so as we’ll have much more market data available by then and I will be updating this list to the top 10 most expensive UNION ARENA: Demon Slayer Vol. 2 cards of them all!
