Lorcana’s 2026 D23 Collection Includes a Mystery ‘Hyperion City’ Promo

As if anyone needed another reason to visit Disneyland this August, they suddenly have one. As it has done in the past, Disneyland will play host to a special and unique Lorcana product: the 2026 D23 Collection, releasing at the Park (as well as other select locations) on August 14, 2026.

D23 Lorcana Collection 2026

This is a pretty big deal as the last time we got a D23 collection was way back in 2024 – back when Lorcana was still only a fledgling TCG. Now, as an established top tier TCG, Lorcana celebrates its legacy with this special collection set.

And just like how the D23 Collection released in 2024 included a card from a yet to be released set, so does the 2026 collection. This time it’s with a card from the highly anticipated Hyperion City set that’s slated for release in October, 2026.

What is the Hyperion City card included in the D23 2026 Collection?

If you notice from the image I shared above, there’s a big “?” where the card face should be. This is because we just don’t know what the card is yet. We do know that it will be from Disney Lorcana’s upcoming Hyperion City set, however – one heavily themed around Coco and coming during the Halloween season.

While we don’t know what the D23 2026 promo will be for this upcoming set, a few other Hyperion City cards have been revealed. You can see those here via the gallery below.

How big of a deal is the D23 2026 Lorcana Collection?

Lorcana’s most recent set, Attack of the Vine, made headlines when it released at Disneyland for its massive crowds gathered in hopes of obtaining product.

Indeed, after a relatively quiet period, Lorcana is enjoying (or suffering from depending on who you ask) a period of intense interest for products and cards.

High profile Iconic cards and Enchanted chases have been fetching thousands on the secondary card market. This is in part driven by a general growing interest in TCGs as well as by Lorcana’s successful inclusion of Pixar properties within Disney Lorcana for the first time (starting with Wilds Unknown).

With all of this excitement and potential value resting in Lorcana packs, of course fans and opportunists alike would converge on Disneyland or anywhere else that’s offering Lorcana products at MSRP.

However, despite how hot the anticipation was for Attack of the Vine!, anticipation for this special product could be even greater. Simply look at the resale value of the last D23 Collection to give you an idea of how badly people are going to want to get their hands on this special set.

How do you get your hands on a D23 2026 Lorcana Collection?

There are relatively few locations selling the special collection. Those revealed so far will be selling the collection starting on August 14, 2026 presumably while supplies last. They are:

For Disneyland, the way you get your hands on this product sounds pretty complex. First, you’ll have to be up VERY early: as early as 5am to join the virtual queue to get the product. However, you can’t just join remotely from wherever you live and then hop on your private jet to Disneyland. Instead, to join the virtual queue, you will need to be within 90 miles of Downtown Disney (according to the Laughing Place).

However, it sounds like just showing up at Disneyland and even getting into the virtual queue doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be guaranteed a product. Yet given how hot this collection is undoubtedly going to be given the current Lorcana hysteria, many will simply choose to take the chance at getting it.

After getting selected via the Virtual Queue, you’ll be actually getting the product at the Downtown Disney LIVE stage.

What’s included in the Disney Lorcana 2026 D23 Collection?

Last but not least, what’s actually included in this special collection? Right now, we only know five of the six cards that are included in the set. But from what you can see in the picture, these cards of course look gorgeous.

In total they are:

  • Angel Siren Singer

  • Pocahontas – Following the Wind

  • Mushu – Stealthy Dragon

  • Unrevealed card from Hyperion City

  • Judy Hopps – Uncovering Clues

  • Mr. Incredible – Taking Out the Trash

As I’ve said before (and will likely say again), it’s exciting to see Lorcana get so much buzz once again. Ever since the game came out, I’ve fantasized about potentially attending a release at Disneyland. With how crowded it’s likely to be, however, I’m not sure how likely it is to even get your hands on one of these exclusive products. Who knows, though. Maybe this will be my first in-person Lorcana drop at the Happiest Place on Earth.
