The Most Expensive Riftbound: Origins Cards
Riftbound is easily one of the most hotly anticipated TCGs of 2025. And its first set has a plethora of gorgeous cards that are easily enough to drive collectors and players wild. Below, we’ll be taking a look at the top chase cards from Riftbound’s base set: Origins.
#1 Ahri – Nine-Tailed Fox (Showcase)
Ahri was one of my favorite champions to play as back when I was attempting to grind my way out of bronze. This Nine-Tailed Fox treatment looks like a painting straight out of the Edo period, although even better given its unmistakably modern treatment. This card isn’t just likely to be the top chase card in Riftbound Origins, it’s one of the cooler concepts we’ve seen in any trading card game as of late.
There’s also a signed version of the Ahri card would should be incredibly expensive.
#2 Miss Fortune - Bounty Hunter (Showcase)
Listing price: $499
Miss Fortune is one of the most recognizable champions of them all. Although typically more of a mercenary-looking character wielding her signature flintlock pistols, this alternate “bounty hunter” look is markably more regal, making Miss Fortune look like she might just have some captain material in her.
#3 Lee Sin – Blind Monk (Showcase)
Lee Sin has the distinguishment of netting the highest confirmed sale of any showcase Riftbound card to date, with a signature version of the card fetching an incredible $1200 via TCGPlayer. That’s some insane hype even considering how popular this champion is. And if Lee Sin’s signature card can fetch that kind of a price on the secondary card market, just imagine the potential for a card like Ahri – Nine-Tailed Fox.
#4 Jinx – Loose Canon (Showcase)
Jinx is arguably one of the most popular champions of all time – a status which certainly isn’t harmed by the fact she basically has her own Netflix show. Her showcase artwork features a trendy depiction of her punk-rock aesthetic she’s become known for – a look that should easily top the charts in terms of value.
#5 Kai’Sa – Daughter of the Void (Showcase)
Listing price: $800
Next up we have the daughter of the void herself, Kai’Sa – another one of League’s most famous champions. Riftbound addicts can essentially harness the power of the void at least in their binders or shelves with this insane artwork that perfectly embodies the power, tragedy, and majesty of this character.
While I usually take early listing prices like this one with a grain of salt, when comparing that high asking price with others on this list, it clearly shows that at least sellers hold this collector’s piece in high regard.
#6 Teemo – Swift Scout (Showcase)
Listed price: $399
I can’t think of a champion more loved and also hated at the same time as Teemo. Teemo may be feared on the rift, but this artwork presents a more lovable demeanor that should be enough to fetch a pretty penny on the secondary card market.
#7 Yasuo – Unforgiven (Showcase)
Few champions have the kind of aura that Yasuo seems to take for granted, and that kind of appeal should convert to cold hard cash on the secondary card market.
#8 Volibear – Relentless Storm (Showcase)
Listing price: $600
The hyper realistic closeup of Volibear essentially says all you need to know about this card. Volibear’s strength and dominance as a Champion help propel him to high status on the secondary card market, with early sales asking prices reflecting his status among collectors and players.
#9 Sett – The Boss (Showcase)
Listing price: $390
Sett is the boss alright, and this card definitely does the character justice, helping the showcase slip into the upper echelons of Riftbound card value.
#10 Leona – Radiant Dawn (Showcase)
Listing price: $250
Despite Leona being available at a lower price point in the early days of Riftbound, this artwork is really, really good, perfectly leveraging shadows and light to depict key characteristics of this powerful support champion. She may not end up being the most expensive card on the roster, but her artwork is up there with the best.
