UNION ARENA is Getting Another Manga-Based Set

Wondering what the newest title to join the UNION ARENA English Version is?

New title reveals are always exciting for UNION ARENA fans. They give us a moment to come together, throw wild guesses as to what we might be getting next, and let slip crazy aspirations out there into the wild (Sword Art Online Vol. 3, please!).

This time around, we’re getting D.Gray-man added to the UNION ARENA English Version: a set not yet released in the Japanese Version of the game! To make things even more exciting, this will be based on the D.Gray-man manga – not the anime!

This marks the second ever UNION ARENA set to be based on a manga: the first being the massively popular Kagurabachi set released early 2026 in the English Version.

Ignore the release date in that image, however – that’s for the Japanese Version. We’ll likely get it several months later – perhaps early 2027.

What to expect from the D.Gray-man set

Because the set has yet to release in Japan, we don’t know a whole lot about it yet. But more and more, we seem to be lining up with the Japanese UNION ARENA release schedule. And with that in mind, the Japanese Version is getting a few cool things in their set.

For example, a hand-signed card by the original author of D.Gray-man – Katsura Hoshino – will be included in the set. As we’ve been getting plenty of hand-signed cards in the English Version, who knows? Maybe we’ll get something like that when our set releases, too!
