Pokemon 30th Celebration Secret Rare card list
Several of the secret rare cards from Pokémon’s 30th Celebration set have been spoiled online. Below, you’ll see the Illustration Rare cards from the set. These are featuring net new Pokémon cards never before seen in the Pokémon TCG. And, of course, their beauty and imaginative composition are worthy of a set as massively hyped as this.
30th Celebration Futuristic Rares
The Futuristic Rarity is a new and likely exclusive rarity to the Pokémon 30th Celebration set. While they’ve received mixed reviews online, their combination of exclusivity, low pull rates, unique status, and iconic Pokémon will likely make these the most valuable 30th Celebration Pokémon cards of them all.
Classic Collection
While several reprints that should be included in the Classic Collection have already been revealed, the rest have also been spoiled via a video shared on the Japanese website promoting the set. Based on the officially revealed reprints (such as the Charizard and the Pikachu & Zekrom GX) it does not appear that the 30 cards included in the classic collection (all reprints) count towards the 128 number in the main set. Instead, these will likely make up separate “Classic Collection” set within the set, much like what we got in the Pokémon Celebrations set for Pokémon’s 25th birthday.
Pokémon 30th Celebration Promo Cards
Often, promo cards are added to a set without being massive pulls themselves. However, given how gorgeous these promo cards are, they could end up rivaling the arguably rarer chase cards from the booster packs. While the products that they’ll be made available in have yet to be officially revealed, whatever they are you can expect them to be insanely hot.
In Japan, the Umbreon ex and Espeon ex were announced for special starter deck sets that we will not be getting in the broader TCG market. However, there’s still a chance that we’ll be getting a special Pokémon 30th Futuristic Box product similar to the one released in Japan: the Pokémon Company has not ruled that potentiality out. Although what exactly it will look like remains to be seen.
Pokémon 30th Celebration Products

While it’s highly likely we’ll get some kind of worldwide/English release of the Futuristic Box featuring the two Pikachu Futuristic Rare promos, and likely some sort of special collection box featuring the massively desirable Eeveelution promos Espeon and Umbreon, the only 30th Celebration Product that has been officially revealed for the worldwide TCG market is the Pokémon 30th Celebration Pack. And its preorder price is actually insane right now.
Indeed, the preorder price for just a single 30th Celebration Pack is going for a whopping $150 right now on TCGPlayer – and that’s with confirmed sales. This is not even in the same league of what we have come to expect even a hyped upcoming Pokémon pack to go for. If prices don’t drop for this product ahead of release, we could be looking at hype the likes of which has never been experienced in the hobby before.
