Perfect Order card list
I’ve been compiling the Perfect Order English spoilers since the spoiler season started. Now, the full Perfect Order set list has been released in English. You can see every single card from the set below!
Main card list
Secret Rare card list
Of course, what we’re really here for are the Secret Rare cards from the set. These are much harder to pull cards numbered beyond the official main set list. These cards are broken up into distinct rarities. These are:
Ultra Rare
Illustration Rare
Special Illustration Rare
Mega Hyper Rare
For more information on which of these secret rare cards are going to be the most valuable, check out my guide to the top Perfect Order chase cards.
Perfect Order Promos
While not part of the main set or secret rare list technically speaking, specific promos are often associated with a Pokemon set. Several were released to coincide with the release of Perfect Order, including three store promos, an ETB promo, blister promos, and the Prerelease Build and Battle Box stamped promos.
Perfect Order Pull Rates
While it’s still very early, some interesting pull rate data has been gathered for Perfect Order. Pull rates – also called “hit rates” by some – are essentially the odds of pulling a specific, higher rarity card from a set. Thanks to Amanda’s experience opening 55 packs from the set, we have a preliminary idea of what to expect from the pull rates for Perfect Order. However, a more definitive look at pull rates typically pulls from thousands of packs.
Pokemon ex: 1 in 4 packs
Mega Pokemon ex: 1 in 7 packs
Ultra Rares: 1 in 18 packs
Illustration Rares: 1 in 9 packs
Special Illustration Rare: 1 in 55 packs
While Amanda didn’t pull any Mega Hyper Rare cards, we know those are insanely hard to pull: roughly 1 in over 1,000 packs. That’s some pretty insane level difficulty that makes chasing Mega Hyper Rare cards realistically an uphill battle to say the least.
Naturally, I’ll be updating this guide with additional pull rate data from the set as it becomes available.
Perfect Order Products
Luckily for those hoping to have a chance to get their hands on Perfect Order products, this set is looking much more reasonable on the secondary card market than the likes of Ascended Heroes: an epic set that saw collectors lining up around the block for product drops.
Conversely, Perfect Order products are already available at quite a reasonable price online via the secondary card market and places like at TCGPlayer.
Let’s take a look at the Perfect Order products you’ll want to know about below.
Perfect Order Elite Trainer Box
Arguably the most popular product from any Pokemon TCG set is the Elite Trainer Box. ETBs have a little something for everyone in them: cards and dice for players, exclusive promos for collectors, and plenty of booster packs to hunt for your favorite chase card.
Speaking of ETB promos, Perfect Order ETBs will have this cool Tryunt card included in them – a very exciting promo for dinosaur Pokemon lovers and one that ties-in well with the Kalos theming of the Mega Evolution era.
Prices for the Perfect Order Elite Trainer Box are admittedly still high when compared to MSRP – currently trending at around $91. However, that’s considerably less than Ascended Heroes ETB and that set has been out for a while. You can likely expect Perfect Order ETBs to drop once the set fully releases.
You can also purchase a Perfect Order Pokemon Center ETB that includes the Tyrunt promo with the special stamp as well as a few extra booster packs.
Booster Boxes/Bundles
The next two products are relatively straightforward. Booster Boxes are your best bet for opening the widest variety of packs at the best possible price.
Booster Bundles feel like more entry-level products. They don’t deliver the same value as Booster Boxes, but at the same time they’re overall more affordable for collectors on a budget.
Additional Perfect Order products
While these are the big ticket items most players are going to want to bag as soon as possible, there’s a surprising array of smaller products available with the release of Perfect Order just as they would be with any main Pokemon TCG set.
Perfect Order cards and strategies for players
Lastly, we have to talk about the powerful new cards entering the Pokémon TCG with Perfect Order. While the Pokémon TCG increasingly becomes more about chasing rare cards, it remains an immensely popular game for players, too. And Perfect Order delivers swimmingly in this department.
#1 Meowth ex
While many cards stand out as potentially strong in this set, Meowth ex is arguably the strongest. Its Last-Ditch Catch ability is one that has been immensely popular in the TCG when brought into a set before, enabling many decks access to built-in search and draw whenever required.
I don’t think that it’s an understatement that Meowth ex could change the game singlehandedly. Many new kinds of decks – especially those relying more on Basic Pokemon than complicated evolution lines – could become more competitively viable thanks to this card alone.
#2 Poké Pad
Poké Pad is an insanely strong Pokemon search card that originally made its debut in Ascended Heroes. It gets reprinted in Perfect Order to help alleviate demand for this card while putting its power in the hands of more trainers everywhere. Meanwhile its Ultra Rare version (pictured above) is already making waves on the secondary card market.
#3 Mega Starmie ex
Mega Starmie ex’s powerful Jetting Blow will likely make it the strongest net new deck Perfect Order deck. Attacking the opposing Pokemon, the bench, and having 330 HP at just a Stage 2 makes this attacker a serious threat especially post rotation.
#4 Telepathic Energy
Telepathic Energy fills the huge void left from Psychic Embrace leaving the game via Gardevoir ex rotating out. The card this one reminds me the most of is the Fog Crystal Item card we had back in Sword and Shield. Now, we have the same energy search capability as that item card only built into a special energy while also attaching them to your bench. It’s a pretty huge card for Psychic decks, making them more viable than they would otherwise be without that Gardevoir ex.
#5 Lumiose City
Speaking of cards that fill a void, Lumiose City is a powerful Stadium that fills the gap left by Artazon. With Lumiose City, players can add any Basic Pokemon to their bench. That’s an insanely powerful effect making Lumiose City essential in most decks.
As you can see, Perfect Order is a decidedly strong entry into the Mega Evolution era of the Pokémon TCG. There’s a little something here for everyone: powerful new cards, collectible chases, and more! Happy Perfect Order release day and happy hunting!
