The moment Paradox Rift came out, we were excited about the Roaring Moon ex box. Roaring Moon ex is, after all, one of the coolest Pokemon in the Pokemon TCG right now, and his attacks certainly do him justice. But is the Roaring Moon ex box worth the buy? We think so. Here’s why.

Roaring Moon ex’s market price on TCGplayer is sitting at an affordable $23.13 right now, making it a very affordable option if you are looking to give it as a gift, or simply to open it and collect it for yourself. At that lower price point, you don’t really need to worry too much about what you pull in order to make it worth it. You’re getting a very cool Jumbo card that you can add to your Jumbo card portfolio, and a Promo card featuring the epic Roaring Moon ex – also one of the strongest attackers in the Pokemon TCG meta right now.

Like with all Pokemon TCG products, what you can pull is pretty random and will vary greatly experience to experience. Here’s what we got though. As you’ll see, it wasn’t the best pulls for us, with actually no rare cards of note.
Final Verdict
Picking up the Roaring Moon ex box at its current price point is definitely worth it. Hopefully you get some better pulls than we did, but other than that we loved the promos that this box came with and enjoyed the chance to pull even rarer cards in the four boosters included.
