Tokyo Tower will be getting its own dedicated “SAO Counter,” while “selling limited tickets that include collaboration goods featuring newly drawn illustrations and a rally tour around Tokyo Tower.”

The special collaboration is somewhat unique in that it features each character in his or her most well-known outfit. Many recent collabs – like the balletcore one in October – feature more unique takes on favorite SAO characters. As fun as it is to see fresh ideas, returning to the source material is also a nice touch.
This just goes to show you how frequent SAO collabs are in Japan. I reported on two different collabs that happened in October, with the latest being the Sugary Days/Bushiroad collab to celebrate Kirito and Asuna’s wedding anniversary.
It’s stuff like this that seriously makes me consider jumping on a plane for Japan. With the launch date just around the corner, however, odds of that happening aren’t the greatest.
