Pitch Black Store Promos Revealed, Featuring “What’s Your Favorite” 30th Stamp
We’re getting closer to the official Pitch Black release day on July 17, 2026. To help us celebrate just ahead of the weekend, Pokémon has officially revealed this set’s store promos – this time with a unique twist. The Pitch Black store promos – featuring Primarina, Zarude, and Armarouge – will each have unique “What’s Your Favorite” 30th Celebration stamps, tying them directly to The Pokémon Company’s special year-long campaign.
Get these promos by spending $15 or more on Pokémon TCG products at participating stores as an added gift while supplies last.
Primarina is available at Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, and BoxLunch
This is the first time we’re seeing Primarina’s English reveal in Pitch Black. Enriching Melody is this card’s ability, and it’s actually pretty powerful. While players probably won’t want to invest in a Stage 2 Pokémon just for its healing abilities, in a meta increasingly dominated by three-prize Pokémon, being able to wipe the slate clean on damage grants a powerful advantage.
From a collector’s standpoint, however, this card’s real value is in its beautiful card art. That combined with the highly unique promo grants Primarina a unique draw.
Primarina is the US exclusive store promo for Pitch Black, and it will be given out at Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, and once again BoxLunch.
Zarude is our GameStop exclusive Pitch Black Store Promo
This is technically the second Zarude card we’ve seen in English, as the Pitch Black ETB card was revealed when the full product list dropped over a month ago. One unique thing about the Store Promo’s artwork, however, is that it features Zarude in what looks like an urban landscape. That’s unusual for Pokémon so synonymous with the jungle. Indeed, the ETB promo has a backdrop we would typically expect for Zarude. The unique backdrop does create some potential for storytelling, however, which is one of the most intriguing things about Pokémon card arts.
Zarude is a GameStop exclusive promo in the US, while those in Canada and Australia will be able to pick this one up at EB Games.
Find Armarouge at Best Buy
Last but not least is this pretty powerful Armarouge card: one that will deal an impressive 40+ 40 damage for each Benched Pokémon with a Fire Energy attached. That’s pretty solid given you’re swinging for a maximum of 240 damage: an insane amount of damage for a single prize Pokémon.
Armarouge will be available exclusively at Best Buy in the US, and JB Hi-Fi in New Zealand.
